Ironborn Axemen, like their predecessors (Elite Ironborn Spearmen), are throwing spear, axe and shield wielding infantry, though they have improved defenses. They can be upgraded into Ironborn Retainers.
Note: They now lack Light Spears, compared to Elite Ironborn Spearmen.

They are armed with a set of 4 Throwing Spears (Ranged: 45p, Speed: 87), alongside a One-Handed Axe (Swing: 30c, Speed: 100, Reach: 47) and a Heraldic Beechwood Square Shield (HP: 200, Resistance: 12, Size: 90x104, Speed: 90).
